Field accommodation, water purification and grenade launchers in the completed Armscor project

According to its latest annual report, Armscor has successfully completed six projects and sub-projects, despite "severe delays in delivery" and "interruptions" in contract execution with COVID-19 as the culprit.

The report lists the 40mm grenade launcher and four systems. They are used for large-scale field breeding, providing field accommodation, building roads, and purifying and bottling water. Other deliveries (completed or partially delivered) are not listed.

The multi-shot grenade launcher project has been completed, and "all the requirements for weapons" will be delivered to the special forces, and will be officially handed over to the Chief of Staff of the South African Army in October 2020. This was designed for Mircor's Y4 six-round grenade launcher, which was delivered under the Kamogelo project. A total of 370 medium-speed grenade launchers were purchased, as well as thousands of ammunition from Rheinmetall Denel Munition (RDM).

The South African Defense Forces (SANDF) requirements for 50 and 200 kitchen and canteen facilities have been delivered and completed, and the first transport trailers have been delivered to the South African Army, which is the main user of the new feed system. According to the report, the remaining transport trailers will be delivered in the 2021/22 fiscal year.

These are provided under Project Teamster, which is replacing SANDF's mobile field kitchen functions with more modern diesel technology. OTT Solutions and Desert Wolf received the first phase of Teamster in early 2016 for a live cooking installation for 15 people. In 2017, Saab was awarded a contract to provide a two-year large-scale on-site feeding capacity coachman under the next phase of the project. This includes a 24 x 50 person system and an 11 x 200 person system. The 200-person system includes a fully equipped expandable kitchen unit, a cold storage unit for refrigerating rations, a utility unit for holding drinking water, diesel and wastewater, and a storage unit. The 50-person system consists of a fully equipped expandable unit and airbags for the treatment of drinking water and wastewater. RCS Weatherhaven and Cambro also provide components of Project Teamster.

Another land force system, a system that provides infield accommodation for troops, reports that it is "nearly complete." During the reporting period, "all requirements for large, medium and small accommodation facilities tents, vehicle tents, bathing and showering facilities" have been delivered. Armscor expects the project to be completed in the 2021/22 fiscal year. The Swatch project was implemented to improve the living conditions of soldiers during combat.

The SA Army’s formations of engineers, known as engineers, are now able to use the construction and earthmoving equipment acquired by Armscor to build roads used by wheeled military vehicles. This project (considered the Pantile project) witnessed the completion of sub-project deliverables including truck tractors, low-floor semi-trailers, truck tractors and trailer units by defense and security procurement agencies during the review period.

The mobile water purifier and bottled water system were completed in March, and "the total demand and system for the mobile water purifier have been delivered" to CArmy. This is considered the Blesbok project of the Water Supply System (WPS). In May 2011, the South African Army awarded the black power company Malutsa a contract for a custom mobile water purification plant to replace traditional systems that can purify all types of groundwater and seawater. The contract includes a collapsible water tank, a water delivery pump, a water extraction system, a bottled water plant, a water bag plant and a mobile water purification system.

The South African Air Force (SAAF) fire and rescue vehicle is the last item listed in the latest Armscor annual report. The report did not give detailed information about the numbers, and pointed out that the completion of the project is "meeting all the requirements of medium-sized collision bidding." This is most likely Project Bandsman, which upgraded existing vehicles and purchased dozens of new cars: Marce provided the South African Air Force with dangerous goods vehicles and Rhino collision tenders.
